What a fabulous evening listening and learning from Dr. Galbraith of Royal Botanical Gardens last night. Such an interesting speaker, we learned about much of the history of the beginnings of RBG and crucially, some vital history of Hamilton and west Burlington. The vision and tenacity of the early developers of the gardens led the path to the creation of RBG as we know it today: an integral part of the community, through its ecosystems, parks, gardens and cultural activities. Thank you Dr. Galbraith for bringing this history to life!
