    One of our CFUW Burlington members has been struggling with Lyme Disease for the last few weeks. It seems that she encountered the tick in her own backyard. Everyone needs to be vigilant when enjoying the outdoors.

    11:00 am– 4:00 pm - (Rain Date June 14th)
    Empty Parking Lot – The Burlington Centre (formerly Burlington Mall)

    Members of the general public are asked to “drive through” with food donations during the hours of 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  

    Families will stay safely in their vehicle as volunteers unload donations.  Social distancing and strict safety protocols will be in place to ensure a contact-less drop-off process.

    To avoid the seemingly vast amount of incorrect information that is circulating about this corona virus it is strongly recommended that we look to official sources for the latest and most up to date information.

    Only official sources should be considered as they have the latest status on COVID-19. Unofficial sources can be out of date and may even contain factually incorrect information.

    According to the Burlington Food Bank, they are low on peanut butter and macaroni and cheese, which is very unusual. Also, with kids at home, their snacks and juice boxes are still needed and many families are running out of toiletries.

    The May 27 General Meeting will now take place on ZOOM. Connection instructions will follow via email. All in-person meetings, speakers & events are cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
