October 11 is International Day of the Girl (IDOG). This year is generating many challenges for girls worldwide as they struggle to adapt to new norms and the increased violence and inequalities brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year we encourage you to join GWI as we celebrate girls and also increase awareness about the gender inequalities faced by girls worldwide. GWI prepared a comprehensive My Voice, Our Equal Future IDOG Toolkit full of interesting, ready-to-go social media graphics and posts, relevant facts, a wide range of advocacy ideas easily adaptable to your local and national levels.  Social media can be a good means to reach a wide and diverse audience and promote our work and values globally.
