We held our first Music appreciation group meeting of the season on November 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Andrea Battista’s home. Convenor Andrea began the year with a discussion of some of her favourite music that she would like to hear on a desert Island. We listened to music ranging from k. d. lang to Louis Armstrong to Smetana to Handel and back…

Our Tuesday evening book group met last night at LaSalle Park Retirement Community. We bid farewell to Lyn Robinson who also very bravely presented an interesting book leading to a lively discussion (The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett).
