This focuses on Elizabeth Simcoe during her 1791-96 trip with her husband, Lt. Governor John Graves Simcoe. Her detailed diary and the many amazing drawings and paintings she created provide an invaluable impression of life in 18th century colonial Ontario and Quebec.

Chris Maillion-Moore, retired 5 years ago, was Local History Librarian at Burlington Central Library. She has always enjoyed researching historical subjects and likes to put the spotlight on "unsung heroes" of local history. Chris has given numerous presentations about Burlington history.
