CFUW RESOLUTIONS NIGHT
CFUW Burlington Vice President Louise Donnelly, will present the proposed CFUW (National) Resolutions for round table discussion. At this time, members have the opportunity to participate in the national resolution process by reviewing proposed CFUW resolutions and making recommendations to support, amend, or reject them.
Time permitting, we will also view and discuss the film WATER ON THE TABLE by Liz Marshall. This award-winning and Gemini Nominated documentary (Donald Brittain Award for Best Social Political Documentary) features best selling author, activist and public figure Maude Barlow, and her crusade to have water declared a human right, protected from privatization. The film explores Canada’s relationship to its freshwater, arguably its most precious natural resource.
