The Advocacy Committee meets monthly as part of CFUW Burlington. Our purpose is to inform, educate, and gain greater awareness and knowledge on specific topics/issues and how they affect women, our community, as well as how these issues impact ourselves.
Together we’ll investigate the problems, concerns, and needs of women, what resources are currently available, and identify what is needed to provide greater support, awareness and understanding. We will learn together and ADVOCATE together on our chosen topics.
New members are welcome. So, please join us and bring your ideas, thoughts, and perspectives.
