Nordic Pole Walking Opportunity
Dear Healthy Living Group
I am sharing information about Pole Walking [not dancing] that I think you may be interested in doing. Pole walking was invented in Finland as an off-season alternative for Olympic cross country skiers who needed to continue working out.
A Nordixx Pole Walking Master Instructor, Ginger Quinn, will bring poles for you to borrow, size you to the poles, and teach you how to use them for the price of $2.00 admission to the Oakville Soccer Club at 1520 Pine Glen Rd. It is just south of Dundas off Third Line. Ginger does this for free. This runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am until 11 am. She will have you cool down with wonderful stretches at the end of your walk. If you would like to go, please email me and email Ginger so she knows how many extra poles to bring.

It is a great work out and you are walking indoors on artificial turf.
Have a marvelous Tuesday,
