All the groups read a diverse and interesting assortment of books. They are similar in operation, though they meet at different times and are organized by different convenors. Generally, a list of nine books is chosen by the group members before the year’s meetings begin and the titles are for the most part current literature.

The monthly book is reviewed by different members and interesting discussions follow. Ideas are freely shared, often including lively and friendly debate.
All Book Discussion Interest Group Members are asked to subscribe to the Book Discussion IG Forum to receive notice of postings so they can stay in the loop.
