Anonymous: Wow! Wow! Wow! That’s all I was thinking on the drive home. One left the event feeling inspired, motivated to action and empowered as a citizen after being reminded that one voice when echoed collectively can make such a difference in the world. Sally Armstrong certainly hit the ball out of the park and so did you and your team.
My congratulations to you for all your hard work in bringing the message to the community. I saw members from the Oakville chapter of CFUW, residents of neighbouring towns and complete strangers with no connection to CFUW who heard about the event. I sat beside 3 generations of women and one confirmed she will be joining your club. CFUW Burlington will certainly gain some new members from this community engagement event. It was most heart warming to see the young ladies/women in attendance!
