St. Thomas wants CFUW out of GWI
Anonymous: Article 4 requires CFUW to be a member of IFUW (now called GWI)
CFUW St. Thomas proposed a motion to delete Article 4 of the CFUW (national) constitution.

a.k.a. The Constitution.
See page 4, Article 4 — The one CFUW St. Thomas proposes we delete.
Anonymous: Are the members of CFUW Burlington in favour of the motion to delete Article 4 of the CFUW (national) constitution or opposed to it?
in favour = delete the requirement for CFUW to belong to IFUW
opposed = status quo i.e. CFUW membership in IFUW is required.
There will be discussion and a vote at our April General Meeting.
If you can’t be there, you may send your proxy vote in writing as per
CFUW Burlington Bylaw VII 4 c below
Bylaw VII – Meetings
4. Quorum:
a) Those members present at a General Meeting at the time of the vote shall constitute a quorum.
b) A majority of the Membership of the Executive Committee shall constitute a quorum for an Executive Committee meeting.
c) Proxy votes may be registered in writing with the President.

I do NOT support the proposition that CFUW withdraw from IFUW.
