DESCRIPTION:An invitation to all members ..\nMonday\, February 11\, 2013\n \nWe are delighted that Allison Thornton will be a guest speaker at our next Advocacy Committee meeting\, which will be held in the evening on Monday\, February 11th. \n\nWe are inviting all Club members to hear Allison at this special Advocacy Committee meeting. \n\nIf you wish to attend;\nplease register online (admission is free) or\ncontact Marnie Linder by February 6th at marnie.linder@cogeco.ca or 905-315-8073.\n\nMeeting details will be provided to confirmed attendees.\n\n\n\nAllison Thornton currently represents the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) in the Ashley Smith Inquest and recently represented the CCLA at the Supreme Court of Canada in the Etobicoke Centre election challenge.\n\nIn addition to a traditional commercial litigation practice\, Allison has advocated on behalf of First Nations clients and has a professional and academic interest in constitutional law.\n\nTo learn more about Allison and her work\, visit her website at http://www.ktbarristers.com/thornton.html
