To all our CFUW Snowshoe Shufflers:
This winter we have our long awaited SNOW! Yes, the cold temperatures are here too, but we know how to dress properly and layer.
A few of us had a great adventure with the Halton Outdoor Club a few weeks ago and enjoyed the trails at Nordic Highlands despite the warm temperatures and icy conditions.
We would like to organize another Snowshoe experience but this time it will be shorter and closer to Burlington.
Crawford Lake Conservation Park has set up Snowshoe tours on various weekends where we can have a guided tour plus use of their Snowshoes.
We are proposing an outing for Saturday Feb 7 th at 11 am. Price: $15 per person + gate fees.
